THE RESTAURANT
News for June, July and August 2025:
Thursdays throughout Saturdays, we serve a pre-set three course dinner (see menu on website) at 6.30 PM and it is appreciated if all guests staying here also would like to dine here these days of the week.
Sundays throughout Wednesdays, the restaurant is closed – we manage only Bed and Breakfast these days of the week.
So if you wish to dine here, you should book a room Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
PAYMENT
You pay your stay at departure.
CANCELLATION
If booked via our website – a cancellation must be done five days before arrival. One night will be charged if cancellation is made later than five days before arrival.
IF YOU ARE ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN A SUITE FOR FOUR
You have access to one bedroom and the parlour(s). If two bedrooms are required, the full fee for the suite will be charged.
TO ENSURE THE BEST RECEPTION
Please respect the check-in time at 3 PM.
Check out at 11 AM
REMEMBER
We do not accommodate children under 10 years old.

Dear Guests and Friends,
Present
The sun is shining and the birds are chirping as if there is no tomorrow! We are busy (but enjoying!) making Björnhofvda Gård fit for the upcoming peak season; garden chores, improving the jetty, painting houses and cleaning the hotel area.
First of all I want to address the issue of keeping our social media platforms inactive at the moment: Representatives for the platforms have displayed some disturbing standpoints recently, which we disagree with. In a spur of disappointment we did not want to further support them. However, this has turned out to be difficult since there are no other social media platforms to display our services. So despite our reluctance, I suppose we will be back there in one way or another.
Past
The past year has been somewhat shaky since we are now operating Björnhofvda Gård without our chef and housekeeping manager. Hans and I now do everything ourselves again, just as we did when we started off this business in 2012. We are happy to say that we have managed quite all right!
We are now able to slow down during low season, opening up the hotel and Sunday Afternoon Tea only one weekend a month. We also manage weekday conferences and private family dinners and other celebrations.
Peak season is as hectic as usual and we are so happy to see that summer reservations are filling up.
Future
This summer there will be some changes in the restaurant:
Thursdays throughout Saturdays we serve a three course dinner at 6.30 pm for €65 per person and it is appreciated if all guests staying here also dine here these days of the week.
Sundays throughout Wednesdays the restaurant is closed – we have only bed & breakfast these days of the week. So if you wish to dine here, you should reschedule your booking to Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
We’ll see how this plan turns out but it seems, by the correspondence, as if it will work out fine.
